After falling in the ocean, the Ensenada toll road has reopened

One of the most beautiful roads in the world has reopened.

Mexico’s Highway 1, better known as the Ensenada toll road, has been rebuilt and is once again connecting the port city of Ensenada with Rosarito Beach, Tijuana and the US border, reports UT San Diego.

If you’re venturing into Mexico, the road is well worth the trip south. It’s within site of the blue Pacific for most of the route. The portion overlooking Salsipuedes Bay fell into the sea on Dec. 28 last year.
