If you’ve got a Garmin, TomTom or iPhone, give this a try if you’re headed up to LA this weekend… or perhaps when you return. Turn off the freeway at Genesee Avenue (headed north) or Oceanside Harbor Drive (headed south), head on over to the old Pacific Highway and give a GPS guided tour a shot. I have 25 waypoints with tidbits on the original way north. The GPS unit will guide you along and (for now) text pops up and tells you what you’re seeing. Pretty cool! And it’s only $1.99 to download.
